NURSING DEPARTMENT TO HOST INFORMATION SESSIONS IN CLIFTON, LAWRENCEBURG and LEWISBURG

Sessions Help Students Become Stronger Candidates for Nursing Program

Columbia State Community College's Nursing Department will host information sessions on Friday, March 26 and Friday, April 2 from 11:10 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at the Lewisburg Campus in room 104, the Clifton Campus in room 105 and the Lawrence County Campus in room 112. Information sessions are open to current students, future students, and to anyone interested in Columbia State's nursing program.

"The sessions will provide accurate up-to-date information about what students need to do to apply for the program and what will make them a strong candidate and put them in the best position to get into the nursing program," said Barbara Blum, Program Director and Assistant Professor of Nursing at Columbia State.

Nursing information sessions will cover topics such as the Associate of Applied Science Degree for nursing, course requirements, requirements for admission into the nursing program, and what students can expect once accepted. The information session will also feature a question and answer segment.
