The ACT National is designed to assess high school students' general educational development and their ability to complete college level work. The ACT National is a three hour test that covers three skill areas: English (45 minutes), Mathematics (60 minutes), Reading (35 minutes). Science (35 minutes) and Writing (40 minutes) can be selected as additional areas during registration.

How to apply:

You may apply online with ACT at ACT Student. Your high school guidance office may have some registration packets that you may also use for registration.

Cost:

For the regular registration deadline:

  • $70 (English, Math, Reading)
  • $75 (English, Math, Reading, Science)
  • $95 (English, Math, Reading, Writing)
  • $100 (English, Math, Reading, Science, Writing)

Scores:

Valid for five years for admission to Columbia State.
