College Level Examination Program (CLEP)
The CLEP is a computer based testing that is offered through Columbia State Community College Testing Services. CLEP allows students to earn college credit by demonstrating their mastery of college-level material in introductory subjects, while saving them time and money.
Please note that you are required to wait three (3) months before retaking the test.
How to Apply:
- Go to the CLEP College Board and register (this pays the CLEP fee per test)
- Columbia State students make an appointment through this Online Scheduler.
- Non-Columbia State students make an appointment through this Online Scheduler.
- Pay a college fee of $25 at the Business Office or by calling 931.540.2530 and provide the CLEP registration ticket and the college receipt for testing.
Cost Per Test:
- $97 to CLEP
- $25 to Columbia State
